Hello Guys,

My computer with 2000+ titles DVD profiler DB has crashed. And unfortunately only back-up I have is pretty old. But My online collection is up-to-date with all my DVDs. Is it possible the restore the database from online collection and download the high-res images afterwards? I know i should've kept my backups regular in the first place but since i have all the collection online why not simple get dvds and matcings high-res images online?

Thanks anyone who would help.

Short answer YES.

just go to online> download

you won't get any personal information as that is not uploaded when you do an online update.

Actually you do get the personal information. In the old IVS days you didn't but you do now.

You are correct though gloriadvd, you will have to refresh the images.

I believe Steve was referring to Notes, custom covers, etc, which aren't uploaded to the online collection.

Go to Online --> DVD Profiler Online then go through & choose Download.

Because!!!

Go to Online - DVD Profiler Online - Next and than choose "Download" and of you go.
You will get everything back but selfscanned covers, although there is a small hickup with tags. So if you use tags, make sure the are correct, if not blissfully ignore this problem.
