I was going editing some profile and noticed that I could delete quite a few unused cast/crew members that aren't used by any profiles at this time.

I was wondering if there is a quick & easy way to delete those from the program?

I looked under tools and didn't see anything about cleaning the cast/crew databases.

Just seen that the subject line says case/crew > can't edit  -- but I clearly meant Cast/crew

Do a Database repair will delete most of them when it runs.

Larry is correct. A Full Database Repair will delete all unused Cast & Crew in your database.

A little extra work may be involved if photos are attached.  Those cast/crew aren't removed by default.  I'm at work so can't say for sure but some extra check boxes to be checked or unchecked to make those vanish, if memory serves.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!
