I have been pretty comfortable with DVD Profiler untill I started adding Blu-ray DVD's to my collection. I have about 12 and have taged them as "Blu-ray discs".  I would like to find only these DVD's somehow so I can print just a report showing what Blu-Ray DVD's I have.  I have run up against a wall and can't seem to select them using tags or filters.  I could select (check box) each one from my "ALL DVD" list but that kind of defeats the purpose of a data base. What am I missing?

I'm not sure...

When you say you can't select them using filters, what exactly are you trying?

The following works fine for me:

1. Click on the "Formats" tab in the "Filters" window.
2. Put a checkmark in the box next to "BluRay"
3. Click on Tools -> Reports
4. Run any of the reports there

In step 2 my list is filtered to only show my Blu-ray movies, and step 4 generates a report of those same Blu-ray movies. If this doesn't work for you the best I can suggest is to run a database repair, which is located under Tools -> Options -> Utilities.

I suggest doing a database backup prior to repairing it: File -> Backup Database

KM,
Thanks for the info.  That did it. When I was using the Filters, everything was checked and wasn't sure whay to select. Also I was trying to do it as a tag as I had a Blu-Ray tag set up.

Gotcha. In many filters it looks like they're all tagged (since the default view is to show everything) but as soon as you select an option it filters on that.

As for your tags, I'm not sure why that didn't work. Filtering on those should work the same way...

Anyway, glad to hear it works now.
