On the filters window, click on the "Personal" tab. In the "Loan Status" section of that tab, click the drop-down menu and select "Loaned Out."

There's a couple of ways to do it, but none are easy or ideal for your purpose.
If you have a home network set up, best solution I can think of is to house your database on a network drive that both your laptop and your PC can access. However, if you do this you MUST NOT have both Profilers open at the same time as this will corrupt your database.
Another option is to house your database on a portable drive (like a USB stick) which you can move between laptop and PC easily. However, this means remembering where you left it! 
One more way of doing it is to use the backup facility. So you would add DVDs on the laptop, back up to a file, then restore that file on your PC. But this would mean making very, very sure that you're replacing the right database and not overwriting info.
Last option is a variant on that idea, and it is to use the online collection as a medium. So you would add DVDs, upload to Profiler online, then download from Profiler Online onto the other machine. But again you'd have to make sure you're not overwriting data you need and this way won't backup personal cover scans.

Personally, I'd like to see a "Sync" option added to Profiler (and not just to the mobile version) - that would be ideal!

Can you expand on this?  I thought you could have both data bases open,, as both are 'central' and not talking to each other...  ??

Boyce is right - the two Profilers are not talking to each other, however they are both talking to the same files on the network drive. So if you edit a profile on one PC while the the same profile is accessed on the other PC, or if you're adding profiles on one PC and then close the database, and the other Profiler already has the same database open - when that database is closed, the additions could be lost.
