Cannot export to XML

When I try the export function, the licensing agreemtn shows up, when I hit accept, it hangs with the mouse busy icon and I have to restart. I tried rebooting, downloading latest version, etc, no luck.

I am running vista with latest 3.1 download.

Do you run Vista with administrator rights?
Seems like the export plugin doesn't have the rights to access the necessary folders.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
