| Posted: | | | | I put my XML exports on a shared drive (drive "P:\"); the disk itself resides in my Linux server and is EXT3 formatted and exported via Samba v3.0.23d. The path I always use is
P:\Daten\Index
The (alphabetically) next directory entry after "Daten" on that disk is "lost+found" which is, what the export defaults to after exporting to "P:\Daten\Index". Of course, you cannot write anything on "lost+found", so an occasional export there would be very slow indeed.
Can anyone confirm this? And then, can anyone fix it? :-)

| Posted: | | | | can't you mount the location directly where the data export has to go? Not very familiar with Linux like Q:\ would be realy P:\Daten\Index\XPortHere If this makes sense to you, what i'm trying to tell you? | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. | Posted: | | | | I've had the same problem with dvd profiler not remembering the export path correctly so now I set up a batch file do do the export and set the destination in that.
problem solved
ie shortcut I run is:
"E:\Apps\DVD Profiler\dvdpro.exe" /CloseExisting /CommandFile="E:\Apps\DVD Profiler Command files\export.txt"
and export.txt contents is
OpenDatabase Default ExportXMLAll E:\Homepage_Sites\SF-Brain\phpdvdprofiler\Collection.xml Close

| Posted: | | | | Until recently I always exported directly to D:\ and I never had the problem of switching directories.
Then I installed a local Apache and pointed the output to D:\xampp\phpdvdprofiler. Now it happens occasionally that it points to D:\xampp\anonymous when I start the export. I have no idea what's causing this because the phpdvdprofiler directory is always there, so it can't be a "'directory not found' fallback strategy". | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online
