I'm running Vista. Iv'e made no changes whatsoever. I went to open the program today, and it went through the loading screen, then...nothing. It's sitting in my taskbar, but everytime I click on it, nothing happens. I've rebooted, reinstalled the program, everything I can think of...and nothing. I'm running the last official release.

Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his own brow?

No, says the man in Washington. It belongs to the poor.
No, says the man in the Vatican. It belongs to God.
No, says the man in Moscow. It belongs to everyone.

I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something
different. I chose the impossible. I chose…
Rapture."

Have you tried running the repair utility?

from Windows Start > Programs > DVD Profiler > Database Repair Utility
if that did not work, try one of those:
launch the program then immediately press and hold:
  • CTRL while DVD Profiler starts once
  • ALT (if you have plugins installed)
  • Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions.

Repair utility did not work, but I did an uninstall/reinstall afterwards and that did the trick.
