Recently I have started adding actor & crew pictures to my database. I recently  started to get a lot of errors, nothing I considered major, I would ususally just use the repair tool and my problems would seem to go away.
However now I have defianalty hit a wall, while tying to edit a profile, It would completly lock the program. I tried several times to make changes and consistently get the programs lock up. if i waited it out eventually it would give an error about "actor" (not sure of the the actual wording"
I then tried to download a different profile of the same movie and was getting lockups again, I then tried to update another profile.. again.... Now I am unable to download any new profiles at all. it always gets stuck at the same place and comes up with an error "Unable to load Actors" All the errors are metioning "actors" and I never had a problem before i started putting in this pics...
I have tried restoring to previous version, but still have actors pictures and still crashing.. I have ran the repair database more times then I can remember.... its really depressing me, cause now I need to add some new titles and I cannot add any...
Has anyone seen this before?? Can I just remove the pictures (I can't figure out how too... or can I replace the specific actors database??/

please help.... I can't live like this...

Have a look in the backup options - what you may be able to do is backup your database without the headshots, then restore it into a new, blank database.
Unfortunately I'm at work so can't check what options you have myself.

Apart from the error "Unable to load Actors" - are there details of other errors that you can give?

I can't see how having pictures would cause an error - but can you tell us how you added the headshots - drag/drop - right click paste?

Hi Guys,,

thanks for such a quick response.. I have tried some varitions of backups leaving out some Actors Picture options etc....

However it look like the problem may have been resolved.. I removed all the headshots from the original profile that I had some problems with... and "what da ya know" It fine again.. was suddenly able to modify that particular profile and then also cleared my download list that has been sitting in pending for couple of days...

I would love to continue adding the head shots, cause once I started I couldnt stop and loved the feature.. but maybe Ill slow it down a bit.. cause I have added a lot, and dont really want to back track and remove them.

My method has been Drag & Drop... and i did forget to add in my original post, I have recently upgraded to Vista, so was wondering if that could have been a part of the issue??

could be some virus threat or virus trace in one of the graphics you drag and dropped from other website, that your AV blocked?
Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions.
