Looks like some sort of database corruption.

You can try a database repair:

Tools --> Options --> Utilities --> Repair DVD Profiler Database.

If you have cast and crew headshots, do a custom repair and either deselect "remove unused", or select Preserve cast/crew with images.

check your settings in Reassigning Collection Numbers
from the DVD Profiler help:
Quote:
Reassigning Collection Numbers

Collection Numbers are normally assigned when the DVD is added to your owned collection. However, you may wish to reorganize your collection numbers after they're assigned. The Reassign Collection Numbers feature is a flexible way to renumber part or all of your collection automatically.

To reassign collection numbers, select Collection->Reassign Collection Numbers. DVD Profiler will display the Reassign Collection Numbers dialog box.

Select Reassign all collection numbers to assign numbers to your entire collection, including profiles which already have an assigned collection number.

Select Partial reassignment to maintain existing collection numbers where appropriate. Eliminate gaps will renumber titles to fill gaps in the collection numbers. Eliminate duplicates will renumber profiles to prevent duplicate collection numbers. Assign numbers where blank will assign collection numbers to profiles which don't currently have a collection number assigned.

The Order by section lets you select the order in which to assign collection numbers. Note that numbers are assigned only to the appropriate profiles, as determined by your selected settings.

The Do not renumber section lets you protect ranges of collection numbers based on their current value. Regardless of other options selected, numbers before/after the selected entries will not be affected.

Note: Collection numbers are assigned to your Owned collection only.

if none of these did help, export your database in XML and look at it with Excel check for invalid dates. could be another bad data in one field, can't recollect what it was, perhaps some ohter user remembers the context, finding error in the local database and exporting it in XML and checking that field???
