So I just started DVDProfiler (I'm using the latest version) and everything seemed fine. I opened a profile because I was looking for an actors name. After I was done I tried closing it by pressing the "OK"-Button. When I pushed the button the error message "list index out of bound (-1)" appeared. I tried closing the profile with the "Cancel"-Button but the message appeared again. I was able to close the profile by pressing "Alt"+F4. I tried a few other profiles and the message seems to appear on every profile. Does somebody know what happened here. I didn't have any problems a few days ago.

Thank you!

If you still have a backup of a few days ago, you can do a database restore. You will however loose all updates done since the last full backup.

Did you move your database out of the default directory?
Or did you possibly change the location of your "MyDocuments" folder?
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I tried using a backup I created a few days ago but the error is still there. And no I did not change the location of the databases default directory.

I thought this error rang a bell and did a search and found this thread.
I don't know if that's what's wrong with your profiles, but it might be worth investigating.

If you are sure the backup contains a good database, then the problem must come from the program itself. You could download and re-install the application to see if that fixes your problem.

Thanks for your answers. I did try to reinstall the programm. It had no effect. But I just discovered something else. Not all my profiles present that error message. All of my DVD-Profiles are fine. Only the HD DVD and Blu-Ray-Profiles don't work anymore. Do you guys maybe know what that means?

Running out of possible options here

What happens if you select a profile, do not open it for editing though.

The go to tools --> refresh profile from invelos --> refresh profiles and images.

Test this with one of the HD-DVD or Blu-Ray profiles.

The other thing you could try, is delete one of the high-def profiles, and add it again. Is it working then.

Check the case type for the profiles that give an error.

OK, thanks that did it. I tried it with one profile and after that worked I updated the rest. Now I can open and close the profiles without problems. Do you maybe have any idea where that problem came from in the first place so I can avoid it in the future? Thanks again.

BTW: The Case Type, was HD Slim.
