| Posted: | | | | So I just started DVDProfiler (I'm using the latest version) and everything seemed fine. I opened a profile because I was looking for an actors name. After I was done I tried closing it by pressing the "OK"-Button. When I pushed the button the error message "list index out of bound (-1)" appeared. I tried closing the profile with the "Cancel"-Button but the message appeared again. I was able to close the profile by pressing "Alt"+F4. I tried a few other profiles and the message seems to appear on every profile. Does somebody know what happened here. I didn't have any problems a few days ago.
Thank you! | | | Last edited: by Cap.T |

| Posted: | | | | If you still have a backup of a few days ago, you can do a database restore. You will however loose all updates done since the last full backup. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | Did you move your database out of the default directory? Or did you possibly change the location of your "MyDocuments" folder? | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | I thought this error rang a bell and did a search and found this thread. I don't know if that's what's wrong with your profiles, but it might be worth investigating. |

If you are sure the backup contains a good database, then the problem must come from the program itself. You could download and re-install the application to see if that fixes your problem. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for your answers. I did try to reinstall the programm. It had no effect. But I just discovered something else. Not all my profiles present that error message. All of my DVD-Profiles are fine. Only the HD DVD and Blu-Ray-Profiles don't work anymore. Do you guys maybe know what that means? |

Support for HD DVD has been withdrawn Steve. PS. sorry for that but I couldn't resist. |

| Posted: | | | | Running out of possible options here What happens if you select a profile, do not open it for editing though. The go to tools --> refresh profile from invelos --> refresh profiles and images. Test this with one of the HD-DVD or Blu-Ray profiles. The other thing you could try, is delete one of the high-def profiles, and add it again. Is it working then. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

OK, thanks that did it. I tried it with one profile and after that worked I updated the rest. Now I can open and close the profiles without problems. Do you maybe have any idea where that problem came from in the first place so I can avoid it in the future? Thanks again. BTW: The Case Type, was HD Slim. |
