Senator Ted Kennedy Diagnosed with Malignant Brain Tumor

Don't really know how to feel about this. Personally, I despise the man...but it's always sad to hear a diagnosis like this because the treatment is horrible and it's a terrible way to die. My condolances to his family.

I agree with you, Randy. He has not been one of my favorite people either, but my sister passed away of the same thing. I would not wish this diagnosis on my worst enemy.

Politically I couldn't disagree with one person more than Ted Kennedy, I have gone toe to toe with him on more than one occassion, but politics aside he has been a friend for many years. Godspeed Teddy.

Thumps up, rorymatt!
Politics or personal preferences do not matter when it comes to such a disaster like cancer! Regretfully I have some experiences concerning this in my family and in my office!

The only thing Ted and I have in common is the love of a good scotch, but no matter who you are this is a horriable thing to deal with.  All my hopes and prayers

It has been said that Ted Kennedy loved his politics, but he loved people more.
If you follow the news you will see as many folks on the opposing side praising him as much as his fellow Democrats.

One of the lasting legacy's of the Kennedy clan is the way they embrace all, not just those who agree with them.

Wish there were more folks like Ted Kennedy in politics who saw people first, not just Liberal vs. Conservative.

He's not one of my favorite people, either, but having gone through a bout with the big "C" myself a couple of years ago, my heart goes out to him.  I had a different kind, and so far a better prognosis, but no one deserves to go through what he faces.
