| Posted: | | | | I have been using Proviler for a couple of years now.
Everytime I enter a new DVD the collections increases by one.
For some reason it now goes to a certain number (not the next higher number)
Does anyone know how to restore it to the the previous default condition? |

| Posted: | | | | If you delete a profile, it'll reassign the collection number for that profile to the next DVD you enter. You'll have to reassign the collection numbers to resolve it.
Or just ignore it as I've come to do. Used to bother me too. |

| Posted: | | | | If you delete a movie or profile, then the number assigned to it becomes available again.
You can reset the Collection numbers by going to Collection on the Toolbar, click Reassign Collection Numbers, choose Reassign all collection numbers, and choose how to reassign them (Purchase Date, Release Date, or Title). I sort my collection by title, so I have to reassign the collection numbers whenever I add a movie. It's not that big of a deal to me because it's only a few clicks of the mouse.
If you haven't deleted any profiles from your database, then I'd try a database repair suggested by Telecine. |
