The export XML feature is really useful for adding content to my home theatre program.

Is there any way that I can import an XML document into Profiler with the file named as per the UPC?

Not via XML. But you can use the UPC Import Plugin to import UPCs from a .txt file.

Who could use an XML import plugin that would allow you to add new titles and/or update existing titles in the database.

If you think that it would be handy to export XML data from your Home Theatre program and import it into DVD Profiler, then let me know by posting a reply here.

Are you offering to write one?
Have a look at the Plug-In-Forum, this might(!) be in the works already, but in general it would be a nice idea. There are however some things to consider, e.g. what should happen to data DVD Profiler doesn't support, say a "Dolby Digital 9.3" soundtrack.

I started a XML import awhile ago, but problems with the plugin API has kept me from releasing it.
