The FAQ says: "To fix this, launch the program then immediately press and hold CTRL while DVD Profiler starts once.".

Another try: make a right click on the desktop profiler symbol, properties, change from execute in normal window to maximized (exact text depending on os - translation) prior to start up. You can change it afterwards!

(I had exactly this problem yesterday after restoring a backup. Changing the properties did it!)

HTH!

Are you by any chance working on a laptop with an external monitor, where the external monitor now isn't connected. If the application was launched on the external monitor, it will still open on that monitor. In some cases the only solution is to reconnect that monitor to drag the application back. You can try with Function-F4 to change it.

Other than that, the only suggestion I have is either reinstall the application, or attempt a database repair.

Kahless is correct. Just hold down the control key when you start DVD Profiler.

if you press the CTRL key when starting DVD Profiler then this resets all the windows position to the default.

There is an easy way to deal with a Window that is located outside the current desktop(s):
1) Make sure the window is selected (most likely launching the application will do it, if not select it though the task bar or task manager)
2) Press Alt-Space
3) Press M (This might be another key if you are not running an English version of Windows - try pressing Alt space on a window visible on the screen to see which menu entry moves the window)
4) Press a cursor key (up, down, left, or right)
5) Move the mouse. The Window will now snap to the mouse position and you can place it with a single left-button click.

A bit easier than reconnecting monitors
Regards
Lars
