Hi everyone

Just got to the v3.1 release after 2.4 and a new Vista machine in between and I must say it is a gigantic improvement - (looks do count for something) - instant registration paid.

Any how - I started entering my collection and a couple of versions of DVDs I have have not been in the list however virtual the same DVD but with an alternate title or from a different country has been available.

I've not done a contribution yet so not sure yet how things are done so excuse me if this has already been asked for before but it would be could if you say actually all the production dates, actors, description etc... are the same as this other profile from the list of all profiles and then enter the bits that are different, e.g. title, cover artwork, discid/UPC, and then contribute that.

This specifically has happened on:
1) Netherlands edition of The Mountain Of the Cannibal God
2) Midnight Cowbody - Cinema Reserve (has a great metal case)
3) A History Of Violence (UK) - similar to the other 2 UK editions except that it has no special features.

I'm not exactly sure of your question. BUt you should just download an existing profile that is close to the one that you want (if it doesn't already exist), and then just amend the UPC code / locality / regions etc to match the dvd you actually have.

You want to be able to compare the data of the same profiles for that title and see what data is there while editing your current profile for crew, cast and other data that is simular to your profile?
This will be difficult: for the Lord of the Rings there are around 100 different releases
Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions.

Peter:

Don't just re-contribute, be sure you check the Rules and make sure to check for things like castand Crew data, that they match the film credits. Don't assume it is correct.

ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!!
