Modify Online Collection? |

Is there a way to modify your online collection? I noticed in the DVD Profiler software that there is an option to update your client/local database with the Online Database. Presumably this is in the case that your local database becomes corrupt or lost and you can update it with the online version. However, I'm wondering if there is a way to add DVDs to your Online Collection, say from a remote computer without a copy of DVD Profiler on it, and then update your local collection with that online collection at a later time.
Am I making sense?
The long and the short of it is this: I can see my online collection via the Interwebs from any computer; can I also modify that online collection via the Interwebs? Or just view it?

You can only modify your online copllection with DVD Profiler, and only view the collection from any other PC.

| | Posted: | | | | As Mithi said: you should use the backup function in the program (File menu / Backup Database) for backup purposes, because your online collection does NOT preserve all data in your local collection. Relying on your online collection as a backup would result in having to re-enter certain fields (and all cover scans that are NOT in the central database) for all your profiles!
