Let's say I insert a DVD in the DVD-rom drive, and when the pop-up window "Do you want to add the inserted disc...?" shows I choose to add the inserted disc to my collection (Confirm? Yes).
Then, the "Personalize DVD" window pops up. I enter Purchase date, Purchase place, and so on, then click on OK.
Now the profile is listed in my collection. I double click on it and the Edit Profile window opens: I select the Personal Information tab... but all the fields are blank!
It seems to me that is a bug.

On the other hand, if I open the Personal Information window directly by clicking on "Personalize Profile" (not via Edit Profile), the data I entered are there, and if I click OK they are saved and available via Edit Profile.

I don't think these two are the same.

I also personalize my DVD at once (tags, purchase date) but this information never got lost so far.

Try a database repair.

You may be right. I tested and the personalized info does remain when I add to collection then open in edit mode. Perhaps a database repair is in order as Telecine suggests.

I guess I wasn't clear, sorry. I am going to change the subject of this thread to try and make it more clear.

I am not talking of the "DVD"-"Add to collection"-"Add Inserted Disc" window.

Instead, I am talking of the "Personalize DVD" window that appears after you insert a new DVD, DVDP recognizes it and prompts "Do you want to add the inserted disc...?" , then you choose Yes.

Please, try the following steps:

0. Backup your collection database.
1. Remove a profile from your collection.
2. Insert the disc in your DVD-rom while DVDP is running.
3. A pop-up window will show up: "Inserted DVD recognized. Do you want to add the inserted disc...?"
4. Click on YES.
5. A "Personalize DVD" window will show. Edit whatever you like, for instance type in a text in the Notes.
6. Click OK.
7. The new profile is added to the list.
8. Double click on it, so to open it for editing.
9. Go to the Personal Informatioin tab and check if the text you entered is there.
10. When you are finished, restore the oriiginal profile from your backup.
