Is there a registry hack to change the default "Reassign Collection Number" option settings?

My DVDs are on my shelf, sorted alphabetically by title. That's how I want my collection numbered. So every time I add another CD, I renumber. That's fine. I have modified my reports so numbers are not listed - I don't need them there, I sort by alphabetically by title.

But what is not fine is that every time I want to "Reassign Collection Numbers" I have to select the "Reassign all collection numbers" button, and the "Title" button. Why? The menu should remember my choices so I don't have to reconfigure DVD Profiler every time I use it.

What would really be nice is if DVD Profiler remembered how I use DVD Profiler, and next time I add a DVD, it would place the new DVD alphabetically by Title in my collection, then adjust the numbers automatically. Now that would be sweet.

I happen to agree about sorting your collection.  I also keep my DVD's on the shelf alphabetically by title but do not take the time to reassign numbers because the last time I did that it took a long time to sync my collection on-line and with my PDA.

Nice suggestion but I would make this part of the feature requests since several others have ask that certain settings be saved for future use.

This is (or can be) done already. I have my list sorted alphabetically and the collection number is only used so I can easily see which were the last few I added.
