In my new contribution of Les Choristes (Norwegian version) I occured a problem. When I add cast members, it seems that many of them aren't in the database. I have printed out the castmembers from other profiles, so the name should be there. I am adding castmembers from end credits of the movie, but half of them so far isn't in the base, but they appear in the other contributions of the movie (different localities) Do I need to do soemthing to update my "cast & crew" database in my profiler? I thought this was strange....

Your cast & crew database generally only includes those people who are in the profiles you have in your collection. So if these people haven't been involved in any other films in your collection, it's likely that they won't be there.
You mention you printed out the names from other profiles - did you add these profiles to your collection first or simply print out the preview screen? If you did the latter, then the people wouldn't have been added to your database. If you did the former, then there is a problem...

No I didn't add anything, just used add disc, and preview, and highlighted the castmembers and printed out, so I could compare different profiles. But I didn't use any of the other profiles, because they're incorrect, there are lots more castmembers in end credits than in the profiles I looked at. So I just create everything from scratch, and add the castmembers manually Then I know at least my contribution is correct

Glad to see you're taking the time to make a proper profile.

As northbloke said, your local database will only have cast/crew entries for people who already appear in your database. If you download one or more of the other profiles for this title they will then be added to your cast listing. then even if you are making the profile from scratch, when you type in the persons name it will show up. then after you have all the cast/crew entered in your new profile just delete the profiles you used for reference from your database.

additionally, you can also copy cast listings from other profiles. and goodguy made a Credit Editor (link to the program in the first post) that if you have excel you can use to past the cast in, make changes, then copy it and past back into the profile (or into your new profile) TomGaines also made a cast editor that i believe is a stand alone program if you don't have excel
