| | Posted: | | | | I'm using Profiler on a home theater PC with a 1920X1080 desktop resolution. I use the same PC to play my DVD's thru TheaterTek software and look at Profiler thru a LCD front projector.
The individual DVD information text size displayed on Profiler needs to be larger to be easily readable on my desk top. Increasing the desk top font size does not help. I have looked everywhere that I can find within Profiler to try and increase font size without success.
Is there a solution to this problem?

right click on your desktop
select properties (bottom)
select settings tab (top right)
select advanced (bottom right)
select general tab (top left)
in the display rectangle

Thanks for the ideas, changing the dpi settings like you suggested has helped.
My HDTV resolution desktop is displayed in a 16:9 format is there a way to adjust it to a 4:3 format?

DPI settings change normal size 96 dpi to 120 dpi you may experience some problems with this as I recall from another thread (if my memory serves me correctly) that DVD Profiler doesn't support the larger DPI so you may see some areas where some information is cut off. |

| | Posted: | | | | The 120 dpi size seems to work ok for me and did make the text size larger but the text on the individual DVD descriptions is still a little a too small to be easily readable. If I try to use a custom dpi setting above 120% it does cause some of the Profiler text to become truncated.
If I could somehow get the desktop set to a 4:3 ratio and retain my 16:9 ratio for watching DVD's it might be the answer but so far I can't figure out how to do that or if it's possible to do?

| | Posted: | | | | If you want to try changing the resolution or aspect ratio, just see what sizes are supported under display properties. You might have some 4:3 resolutions and you might not. One that would make your fonts look slightly bigger is 1600x1200. The next size down often supported is 1400x1050. Then 1024x768.
Of course, you don't mention what you are using for a display, so this may or may not work for you at all. How does your system display 4x3 DVD material? | | | | Last edited: by nolesrule |

The HDTV projector input that I am getting from my PC only supports HDTV resolutions. 4:3 DVD's display as 4:3 and are not stretched. If I try to use anything other than a HDTV desktop resolution the projector loses sync.

Does anyone have a new idea on how to improve (make larger) the font size in the Overview section when vieing it in a 16:9 1920X1080 format?

Thanks for the response.
I am not a PC expert.
Is your solution a registry change or what? I have never edited a registry and understand that I could do a lot of damage if not done just so, correct? Could you be a little more specific with exactly what I need to do to implement your fix?
