For some reason, the last 2 days I have not been able to upload my collection. During the "uploading and processing list", I get a pop-up message saying "The online system is currently unavailable or an error occurred. Please try again later".

I've done a full database repair, but that didn't help. Any ideas?

Have you tried the alternative connection method?

Tools > Options > Online

Also check your firewall and anti virus aren't interfering.

Did not help. I also clicked on the "test internet connection" button, and DVD Profiler confirmed everything was correct, and that it connected correctly to the Invelos server. It is strange, because it worked 2-3 days ago.

Did you switch off your AV program? There have been reports in the past of some interference from these and as they update regularly that could explain why it's the last couple of days.

Your online collection is there (just checked, interesting collection!  ), so I reckon the problem could be somehow related to the link between your local DVDP installation and your online collection. In DVDP, if you check under Tools / Registration Information, is your registration info displayed correctly? If not, that might be the cause of your problem.
Are you able to download updates for profiles from the Invelos server? If so, that proves there's nothing wrong with your connection to Invelos.

BTW, I just tried to upload myself and had no problems at all.

I can download new profiles (and download updates to older profiles). I do suspect that there may some problem with one of the latest DVDs added (some kind of corrupt data) which gives me an error. But I thought the database repair would've fixed any errors.

My registration is also correct. DVDProfiler is logging in, but gived me an error when processing the list for upload.

Have you added/refreshed any titles in the last couple of days? You could remove them if it's not too many and see if that fixes.

Slightly more drastic would be to back up your collection then remove all profiles and just add a couple of titles to see if that will allow upload.

Try creating a new empty database and upload that. Then switch back to your old database and upload.

I'd think your firewall is interfering.
Please check the Log file of your firewall whether it blocked any traffic to invelos.com and inform about the results.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Did you receive your key already?
I'm asking because the unlimited sign (eye) isn't showing, which usually means that you are still limited and cannot upload your collection.

EDIT: Or did you change your Login name (registered name) please check your data in "My Profiler".
If all is like you ordered it send a PM to Gerri or Ken to sort this out.

I received my key in june 2007.

I  uploaded my collection (500+ items) the same day.

Now i want to update my collection. But the whole thing is empty again after upload.
The profiler said "Transfer complete - your collection has been uploaded.

No i think the key is not that unlimited as i read. And no way i'm buying a new one.

EDIT: No i didn't change my name or password.  I haven't used this site or the profiler for 5 months
