Well, what I mean are those TV-Series you are hooked right from the start!
Starting with the first episode without being able to stop watching the next ones within a short time.

Here are some of my addictive series:

- Prison Break
- Rome
- 24
- The Soparanos
- Nip/Tuck

What about you out there?

There are only three of them since Monk dropped out.
So we have
House M.D.
Grey's Anatomy

And my alltime favourite
ALF
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Mine was OZ.

We do not have cable. I am on satellite and I do not get the premium channels.

I saw a preview weekend and caught an episode of OZ. I got hooked!

I then went on eBay and managed to pick up all 6 seasons for about $15.00 each and when I got them all in, I sat down each night and watched 2 episodes until I completed all 6 seasons.

24 is definitely the most addictive.  I don't mean "best", there were better shows, Twin Peaks just to name one... but 24's pace and story keep you glued and make you want to watch more and more...!

As to comedy, Friends season 1 was some seriuos laugh, but BBC's Yes Minister was a riot too!
