i have DVD Profiler on my laptop and therefore am in and out of range of a wireless connection. is there a way that the database can be d/l so that i can use DVD profiler and enter new dvd's by upc code and then when i get a connection i can open the program and it will d/l and the new profiles and update my existing profiles? guess what i am asking is... can i d/l the database for update at a later time? and where is the database kept on my machine?

you will need to be connected for sure for the first time, after this it should work... if you are added a title that has been added to the database since the last time you were able to update you will be able to manually add the title by UPC code, and then later update the title to match the online database... i would recommend using the tag feature to keep track of these, then later filter by that "need to update" tag, then flag all - refresh all flagged

Yes you can.
The only condition is that your database up to date (not the ones you have, but the ones that are available). This database is automatically updated every time you enter a new DVD to your collection.

One slight problem occurs. The new DVD's stay in the download section until you are online the next time.
For updating your existing profiles use the menu "Online -> download updated profiles" (or something similar, Idon't know the exact name for using a localized german version).

EDIT:
John was a bit faster
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
