Regarding the menu buttons

When flipping back and forth through small and large buttons on the button menu, I noticed the following.

Remnants of old windows seem to persist in the display of the buttons.
Outside the explicitly painted part of the button image, pixels seem to be marked as transparent.
However, the program never repaints the background of the buttons after program start (either with the menu background colour or, as it was probably intended by the menu tool, with a dedicated bitmap background pattern). Net result: clogging background on the buttons whenever a window has existed on top that area.

Strange enough it doesn't happen with the pull down of the text menu's just above. Probably these pull downs are XOR'ed on the underlying image, I  guess.

I have the same issue with the newest version 3.5.1 - build 1252 under XP Pro - English.

I resinstalled my entire pc, lately. I downloaded a new version of DVD Profiler then, and that did not help a bit.

Here a screenshot:


The text (Refresh) you can see behind "Personalize Profile" (fifth button from the left) makes it clear that the programm shows fragments of the window behind DVD Profiler. This means that the buttons are transparent... but quite a bit TOO transparent.

Please fix this. It is rather annoying!

I don't believe it's a problem with DVD Profiler. Do you perhaps use Window Blinds or some other similar software? Or it could also be your Graphics card driver.

1. Two people have the same problem.
2. My drivers are up to date.
3. I only have this problem with DVD Profiler.

That does not mean of course that it cannot be true, but I guess it's rather unlikely.

What two people? The original poster of this thread posted this almost 2 years ago. I doubt he's still having the same problem.

I've seen similar things in the past with other software when my computer has been low on system resources. Try shutting down any non-essential processes and applications and see if the issue still occurs.
