| Posted: | | | | This post is so badly written it's practically not worth answering. But I'll do it nonetheless. You can download the old program from here: http://legacy.intervocative.com/Downloads.aspx But be informed that there will no new profiles and no updates. You have to do all the work for yourself. On the other hand you could just pay the 30 bucks and get all the comforts of the 3.x version including new profiles and updates from other users. 30 dollars are 6 out of your 500 movies even when you pay only 5 bucks each. Your choice. PS: Multiple exclamation marks are a sure sign of a diseased mind. PPS: writing in upper cases is considered screaming on the net and therefore rude. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | looks like you didn't read before installing ...
just un-install version 3 and then reinstall your old 2.4 and restore your backup...
if you don't have your 2.4 anymore, the old site might still offer it as a download (don't know for sure).
if you don't have a backup of 2.4, you should have read the instructions about installing 3.0, it recommended making a backup. | | | Premium member since 29 August 2002 ----

You talk about rude, how rude is it on your part to expect to be able to continue using something for nothing, the developer deserves the few pennies you should give him, or do you expect him to get handouts from the Salvation Army because you would prefer to deal with FREE. There ain't no free lunch, son.

Skip Ok one im not a boy so dont call me son two for many many years the program was free, why can't they leave it like that one free with advertising and the other for those that want to pay for the Extras or what nots. I remember that they even had a donation set up at one time and I did that I didnt have a problem flipping out 5 bucks here and there I know that put out 30 bucks or more to help them improve the software. It just be nice if they had it the way before that is all. I poked around the new one before going back to the other one and I don't like the new one but at somepoint I will have to give in just not looking forward to it |

CIA take a word of advice, you will find NO sympathy for your visons of free lunching on someone else's back. It is now time to put up or shut up. I hate to be harsh but...no sympathy. You expect the people that developed this software no doubt to work a regular job plus doing this, just so YOU can have free software. That isn't the way the world works. get over it. We get about one of you freeloaders coming here about once a month, all you display the same indignant attitude, and all get the same response, you are no different. Like Doc says. Try it...you'll like it. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

| Posted: | | | | It is useless to flame this user. We can answer him and try to convince him to buy this program, using correct words, as Ron did. The hateful attitude of some users is first shameful, second counterproductive as that will make him fly away rather than buy the product. | | | Images from movies |

Not to mention that there still is a free version, it just has a limited functionality when you enter more than 50 titles. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

As for the makers of this program so they want to charge ok whatever I'm just stomping my feet since I have been on a mailing list for sometime and NEVER received even a notice that this was going to change it upset me when I found out. Also its a smart move on their part to make everyone pay they now can make money off of everyone. It just sucks to tell a friend how great a program is and how well it works and that they can download for free and yes FREE as it was at one point only to show them a road block that my porgram didnt work at that point. I at some point will have to upgrade even though I'm looking at a few other programs that do the samething I would hate like heck to have to input all that over again. As for free lunch there are still tons of software and companies that offer FREE stuff if you look hard enough you can find it, they offer it for free so why not take advantage. I'm happy all of you are able to flip the funds out right now for this program however I can't I'm not in that position right to have those funds due to personal reasons. Now if someone can tell me if I can import a list to my Ipod since I'm no so High ended to have a PDA that would be nice as i see there is another porgram that does so. |

| Posted: | | | | Perhaps we should just come right out and call her a d1ckhead? Surely that'll make her buy the program. Dang, if you don't have something nice to say, STFU. It's a fairly simple rule, even my 8-year-old can follow it. | | | Last edited: by mdnitoil |

| Posted: | | | | There is a PDA version but it is not "free" either. But it won't function with 2.4, it is tied to 3.x. But I don't think you can do IPOD.
