| Posted: | | | | How do flag/list all comedies for example. The older version of profiler you could quickly list just all horror, all drama, all comedy, etc... Now it seem its just puts them in genre listing. You can't separate them in a list. I want to list just a specific genre, not all of them in order of genre.
I'm doing this to then go to the reports and just print all comedies, horror, etc... You first have to list them or flag them. It should be just one click, like the old version. I'm not going through and clicking off every comedy, its seems stupid.
Any ideas? |

| Posted: | | | | I am not sure I follow you. Ticking of a genre in the filter does have that result you are asking for as far as I can see? | | | Regards Lars | | | Last edited: by lmoelleb |

| Posted: | | | | I see in filters is Genre, which I want.. And it says list in order of ascending or descending, thats it. Not which genre, like drama, comedy, etc... The old version did have this.
Am I missing something? | | | Last edited: by chuck11 |

Am I missing something? click on the Filters Tab in filters select the Genres tab window now has the list of genres besides little boxes (all filled/coloured in) click the 'Comedy' box (box changes from filled to a Tick) select 'And' or 'Or' radio button at bottom go back to 'Collection List' your collection now filtered to 'Comedy' films in 'Collection List' click on the 'Title' bar to sort Ascending / Descending To clear the filter go back to Filter tab click 'Clear all Filters' Steve |

| Posted: | | | | I don't have a filters tab. That list to the left of the screen, dosen't look anthing like the old version. Those instruction you just gave me( excellent, thank you by the way) are what I always did for he old version. I don't see those tabs in the new version. And I'm running it the same way I did with the old version. I never touched the screen layout. Kept the default, just like I did before.
How do I change the views, to see the tabs ABOVE the list on the left. | | | Last edited: by chuck11 |

How do I change the views, to see the tabs ABOVE the list on the left. If your running the Default layout as defined when first installed DVDP V3.x Across the top of the screen is the words File Collection DVD View etc followed by a row of icons then Three Windowed areas labelled Collection List : General Info : Front Image at the bottom of the Collection List window are 3 Tabs Collection List : Filters : Set Tags then follow previous instructions. | Posted: | | | | This program of Invelos 3.0 and up is prone to Loosing the filter buttons all the time, you have to reload your settings back in to gain thosae missing tabs... In your view of your program on the left side of hte screen is your large columns of titles ( All/owned/ordered/wish list ) At the very bottom of this list you should have three tabs, if you only see two, then you have to reload which is on top task bar that says 'view/loadlayout ' . the three tabs along the bottom of colleciton should read 'collection/filters / set tags edit OOPs sorry Steve, you weren't there when I composed ... | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

| Posted: | | | | Well there it is. Thanks to the both of you. I just reloaded my view layout. That was strange, I wonder where the buttons went to begin with. I used the default.
Anyway it works now.
Thanks again, |
