| Posted: | | | | Hi there,
Finally using v3.03 after many years of 2.x - nice...thanks!
When restoring my old v2.4 database into v3 I get the correct amount of discs (537) but when the restore is finished I get an information box pop up;
33 EANs not converted
DVDProfiler 3 uses the full UPC code and automatically converts old codes when possible, and old partial Disc ID's to the full disc ID.
A flag has been saved to UnconvertedEANs.lst
To load this flag set, select Collection->Flags->Load Set from the Main Menu
Excuse my ignorance but what does this mean exactly?
If I follow the instruction then I see 2 files Unconverted EANs.lst & Unconverted UPCs.lst
If I load either of them they are inserted at the top of my collection with a tick in the left column but prior to this they already existed in my collection also...
What/how do I 'fix' this please?
Thanks & regards, -=Glyn=- |

| Posted: | | | | What this means is that there are 33 DVDs that the program has been unable to work out the full UPC/EAN for. If you load up those lists one at a time, and look at the UPC of the flagged DVDs, you'll probably find that they are either still in the old 2.4 format or a disc ID. If you then use the Change UPC/EAN option in the DVD menu, you can then change it to what it should be. That should sort it out. Remember to do this for all 33 DVDs. And please submit the corrections! |

| Posted: | | | | The "tick" means that those profiles are flagged. To convert them to the valid UPC/EAN goto DVD>Change UPC and add the missing digits. You'll need to look at the actual DVD cover in order to know what digits are missing. You're lucky...33 unconverted is nothing. Some folks had 100s that weren't converted. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | One thing to remember is that those two lists you need to load in will never get updated, so if you stop half way through and come back to load them back in at another time, then they will all still be ticked, even the ones you've already fixed. |

No, the ones you have changed now have a new UPC/EAN and will not match the old flags in UnconvertedEANs.lst. If you look at the list it is just a text file with one UPC/EAN per line. pdf | | | Paul Francis San Juan Capistrano, CA, USA |
