| Posted: | | | | Is there an easy way to export my database to a HTML file complete with all the cover scans? What I'd like to do is have a way to show my collection from something like a flash drive without having to rely on internet access or them needing DVDProfiler.
Thanks |

There would be a way using XSLT on the XML-Export the Profiler offers, but that needs a bit of programming skill, see signature if you want to give it a try. That might be also accomplished by installing something like CutePDFWriter. With that you can "print" reports to a PDF-File and carry that around on a Flash drive. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

| Posted: | | | | Doug's DVD Profiler Companion might work. I'm not sure that it's updated to use DVDPro v3 XML though. It's worth a try though | | | The colour of her eyes, were the colour of insanity |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the suggestions. I'll have to take a look at them and see which one works the best for me. Too bad there is not an easy way to export it to HTML... Maybe something for the suggestion box. |

| Posted: | | | | Exporting to HTML is the one thing DVDProfiler needs, that's for sure!
I couldn't make DVDcompanion work. When I select the location of the .xml file and the location of DVDProfiler installation and click on Next - nothing happens.
Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be? Thanks. | | | Last edited: by ougee |
