| Posted: | | | | i recently contributed a large number of coo's that were released into the db - upon refreshing updating profiles tonight i've found that skipping unchanged does not remove these from my update list. | | | -JoN |

| Posted: | | | | It doesn't remove them from the list, but it unchecks (deselects) the profile/images boxes - so it will skip that title when you click on update. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? | Posted: | | | | at first I thought there was a comma missing in the threads's title and was gonna tell you it must read: Skip unchanged, does not work. Then I realized that that would be a foolish thing to post... To your question: After you have completed the skip unchanged procedure, you will have to exit the update dialog. Only when you enter it again later will those items be removed. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

No, that's not true. Skip Unchanged downloads all pending profiles (not images), compares them, and if they are identical, updates the profile stamp and removes the profile from the update list. For me, it works as advertised. The only problem occurs if there is an image update available as well. That gets removed regardless of being different or not if the profile data itself are identical. Sorry for the interruption. You can now return to your regular Skip Joke Schedule. EDIT: And ya_shin is right, you have to exit and re-enter the update dialog to actually get them removed from the list. | | | Matthias | | | Last edited: by goodguy |

| Posted: | | | | You're probably right, Matthias. I just have so many profiles that have changed (nearly 800 but I'm working on them) and "Skip Unchanged" only reports 1 or 2 which are the same, so I can't easily tell if the those are being deleted from the list. Once I get my changed profiles down to a few instead of the 800 I have, I should be able to tell wht's happening. Thanks for the assistance. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges?
