| Posted: | | | | Your online collection points to Intervocative. I'm guessing you upgraded from the Intervocative version to the Invelos version directly. Here's what you do: run your old Intervocative version, re-install it if you have to, it will run alongside 3.x as a separate install. Then download your online collection to it (you may not have to, your files may already exist if you didn't uninstall it.) Do a FULL backup to your local hard drive. Then run 3.x and restore the Intervocative backup into it. | | | Build a man a fire and you keep him warm for a day. | Posted: | | | | Glad to help. And nope, you are at Invelos now. Two separate databases, that's why you have to re-import into the new version. If you didn't uninstall the old version it's easy, if not you can still re-download your online collection. A bit more work, but you should lose nothing. Good luck! | | | Build a man a fire and you keep him warm for a day. Set a man on fire and you keep him warm the rest of his life. |

This worked for me, but the restored database was put in c:\My Documents. I don't want it there. How can I change the default path? I've look at all the Options options but to no avail. Thanks in advance. |

| Posted: | | | | Greg_b, create a new database.
Menu: File/Open Database. Then click the New Database... button. You can specify where it is stored in the dialog box and be sure to check the "copy existing" box.
Once you have done that, you can delete the old one from the open database window.
I'm not sure, but there still may be a DVD Profiler folder in C:\My Documents with other folders for Reports, Flags, Translations, and Layouts. I don't think these files move with the database directory.
IMO, having these items all in one place make backup easier, but YMMV. | | | Kevin |
