| Posted: | | | | When an HD DVD or Blu-ray disc is added to DVD Profiler, you can choose the correct "Media Type" of either Blu-ray or HD DVD, but the "Video Format" section only has the forced, "Analog Television" choices of "NTSC" & "PAL", both of which are incorrect for the High Definition formats. "ATSC", would be the correct choice for the "Video Format", needed to document the Universal - Digital television standard, that is on both the "Media Types", of these High Definition ATSC formatted discs. | Posted: | | | | Note: " HD DVD COMBO Format Discs" (HD DVD on one side / DVD on the Other) , requires " Two choices" in both the "Video Format" section (ATSC / NTSC) and the "Media Types" section (DVD/HD DVD), to be made on the same profile for correct documentation of the specs. Also, the new " TotalHD discs" (HD DVD on one side / Blu-ray on the other), will require Two "Media Type" choices (Blu-ray/HD DVD), where currently you are only able to choose one HD disc type in a profile. | | | Last edited: by Paul Hillenbrand |

| Posted: | | | | We don't need dual video format choices etc if each side is added as a child profile. Do need to be able to indicate dual disc formats in the parent profile though, but I'm sure TotalHD discs will be possible at some point (via selecting both HD-DVD and Blu-Ray; you can already select both DVD and HD-DVD). | | | Last edited: by Squirrelecto |
