This particular UPC has multiple titles to it.

I was able to add one to my collection as a alternate:
Monkey King: Hero Is Back

The initial title associated with this UPC is
A.M.I.: Artificial Machine Intelligence.

I'm attempting to add a third title, Pagan Warrior, but it's showing that I own both (A.M.I. is not in my collection either in real life or on DVD Profiler) and is not allowing me to add a third.

Googling that number brings up numerous DVDs, many of which are sold at Dollar Tree:
The Aviators
The Easter Egg Adventure
The Girl in the Crawlspace
How to Train Your Dragon Trilogy
Krampus: The Christmas Devil
The Magic Kids (which I also own)
Ouija: The Resurrection
Ouija: The Summoning
SpyCat
Tall Tales

As well as other items that are not DVDs including balms, fiberoptic devices, and window blinds.

Another reused UPC is  828706545188, which is the UP of at least two Dollar Tree DVDs I purchased, The Perfect Trap and Windstorm.

This sounds more like a sticker over the UPC for Dollar Store to me. If it's on the shrinkwrap or plastic case, look under it for real UPC. If stuck to the paper insert, good luck. Some of those are impossible to get off without ripping the cover or taking the print under it.

In my quest to know a bit more about these Dollar Tree DVDs and Blu-rays I did found a thread on Blu-ray.com which describes the issue and even shows the same UPC#, well at least the 828706545188 one.

See post #21024 for some examples.

Hmm, post #23396 does show something interesting.
It seems that these UPC numbers are changed on a monthly base, so every month they are using a different UPC.

Identical as far as I can tell, but the differing barcodes defeated my collection barcode search. (These are the actual barcodes and not DT stickers. duh.)

How do they keep track of what is sold, or does it matter (since the price point is the same)?
My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it!

Maybe DT is paying for only one UPC because they only want to track one UPC as it doesn't care what the title actually is.  But that means the studios have to print new wraps just for the DT which would add cost.

Looks like these UPCs are associated with Centrade Corp. which specializes in wholesale.

I just assumed because the price was the same, doesn't matter to them.
