| Posted: | | | | How would I go about adding titles to my wish list that are not in the database when I don't have a lot of information about them?
For example, I found these Filipino DVDs I want at an online store in Pakistan. I'm not buying them from here because a) they jacked up the prices since I last visited (all but one were under $10 a year ago), and b) the shipping to the United States is over $150. If I knew things like the UPC, they would probably be easier to find...

| Posted: | | | | I don't even know where to begin when visiting that www.dvdplanetstore.pk website. Red flag after red flag. For example, “Cash On Delivery (COD)” only, some titles are graded as ‘Imports’, ‘Factory’ or ‘Original’, the Print Quality is graded with for example "Master-Print", but the best of them all: Quote: Should an item be unavailable, we would inform you if it was possible to provide an on-Demand DVD-R version of the requested item, but we offer no guarantees. Let alone the prices. This is the Ultra HD of Black Panther and with shipping to The Netherlands. WTF? And scam-detector.com does have the following outcome: Quote: Is www.dvdplanetstore.pk legit? We DO NOT recommend it as it has a low trust rating. The website is suspicious, at least for now. Our Scam Detector's VLDTR® offers a review of this business and its Lifestyle industry. We used 53 powerful factors to authenticate if www.dvdplanetstore.pk is legit. Since the rating is low, you could find trustworthy alternatives for the same products below. The Scam Detector’s algorithm gives this business the following rank: 23.7/100
So, again a shady (web)shop, with quite a lot (if not all) of highly questionable discs for sale. But to answer your question. Quote: How would I go about adding titles to my wish list that are not in the database when I don't have a lot of information about them? Do your research online, for example Google, blu-ray.com, amazon.com (or co.uk, de, au, etc.), or in case of the Philippines, check lasada.com.ph, or even ebay.com. If you only press the links I provide to you from Amazon.com and lasada.com.ph, you already see quite a few Filipino movies on DVD and Blu-ray. This only took me a couple of seconds to find. Try to stay with legitimate sources and don't use shady (web)stores. Chances are much better that you will find a genuine copy, which easily can be submitted to our Profiler DB. | | | DVD Profiler for iOS since: January 9, 2011 (no longer using) DVD Profiler for Android since: June 6, 2013 | | | Last edited: by Hotm@iler |

| Posted: | | | | I looked on Lasada and eBay--nothing.
I boycott Amazon, but even at that, they had only downloads. Not with my hard drive. |

I boycott Amazon, but even at that, they had only downloads. Not with my hard drive. These were only examples, although I hoped you could find what you are looking for. And like I already said on another thread I now have a better understanding of your search for these, sometimes quite obscure releases from all around the world. I think these types of films can perhaps be found at some rather highly specialized fora with people sharing the same kind of interest. Although this forum of course is the place of many movie enthusiasts, with perhaps the same affection for these Nigerian, Filipino, etc. movies, chances are that you have to search elsewhere on your quest to find these titles. Perhaps Reddit has some special places for these kinds of movies as well. Again, just some examples and just trying to help you with your search. | | | DVD Profiler for iOS since: January 9, 2011 (no longer using) DVD Profiler for Android since: June 6, 2013 |

https://www.dvdplanetstore.pk/?s=Manananggal&post_type=product&product_cat=0 I'm a bit confused by what you want to do. If you barely know anything about a disc, why would you add it to your wishlist? Why do you want films that are only available on these obscure releases from little-known websites based halfway around the world from you? Given the thousands, if not millions, of titles on the Invelos database, doesn't their absence suggest the discs you want are of dubious legitimacy? |

https://www.dvdplanetstore.pk/?s=Manananggal&post_type=product&product_cat=0 You can add anything to your local DB you want. Stop trying to push the pirated discs into DVDP online. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |
