Personally I would just enter the department heads (supervisor or whatever) if I was creating a profile for such a movie. Large groups of visual effects people with no specified function are meaningless, in my opinion.

But should you remove those that have already been entered? I probably would leave them as they are without adding any more. But if you feel that that is not an option, then I'd say remove them rather than adding hundreds more.

The outcome was not listing a group of people listed under a (company) header without a specific job description. In my opinion only the crew with a specific job description (Designer, Supervisor, and Director, Special Photographic Effects) are valid.

What I don't understand is why the majority still wants to list a group of special effects crew without a proper job description as discussed in this topic.

We add a lot of ADR people without roles. Same thing imo.
