| | Posted: | | | | Like many others here ... I don't tend to have pictures of myself hanging around ... altho my avatar *IS* a picture of me (2 color from Epcot's Leave a Legacy). Anyhow, here's one I found from a couple months ago ... my folks (who live 1100 miles away down in FL) wanted to see what I looked like after I let the barber touch my beard (which I've had and trimmed myself since the early 1980's) for the first time ... please, make sure the women and children are out of the room ... and I take no responsibility for any vision or mental damage any of you may incur from looking upon this image ... . . . . . ... you've been warned ... . . . . .  | | | | pat---- |

Whose that Vince fella? Really? Piano player who substituted for Art Tatum as the intermission performer at the Blackhawk in San Francisco. Became Cal Tjader's piano player, and also for Conte Candoli, Frank Rosolino, and replacing Nat Pierce for one session with Woody Herman's Thundering Herd. Had a trio (more than one, actually), won a couple Grammies, recorded a TV soundtrack.
