I've submitted BY for the various Billy Wests as follows:

Billy West (1892)
Slapstick Encyclopedia
Gold Diggers of 1933

Billy West (1952)
Batman The Animated Series Volume Four
Stooges: The Men Behind the Mayhem
King of the Hill: The Complete First Season
Futurama: Volume One
The Ren & Stimpy Show UNCUT The First and Second Seasons
Looney Tunes: Back in Action Widescreen
Looney Tunes: Reality Check
Looney Tunes: Stranger than Fiction
Cats & Dogs Widescreen
Dinosaur Two-Disc Collectors Edition

We'll see if Invelos accepts these BYs; if so I'll put em in the Accepted BY listing.  If you have more Billy West appearances (especially later volumes of Futurama and King of the Hill, which I don't have), feel free to add any not on this list.

EDIT:  There profiles were all approved.  Someone else posted the Billy Wests in the BY thread before they were actually approved, but they are now.

I noticed a small error with Terry O'Neill.  The current picture is of Brigitte Bardot taken by a photographer with the name Terry O'Neill.

A picture can be found here.

Thanks to everyone for your hard work especially Dr. Killpatient and cvermeylen.

A new update is released containing Chuckies correction and 96 other images.
I've changed the naming convention. It's now called Headshots-monthyear.
This is the august release. The september release will be available beginning october.

Download at the usual location.

Interesting.  I just loaded this August file and I was prompted to accept/decline all the same images from the last file.  There were a couple new additions to choose from but I've been asked to choose John Wayne pictures about a dozen times now.  Not that big a deal but are you starting from scratch each month or just letting it grow?

There must have gone something wrong with my database repair. My apologies, Somehow my old headshots profile remained in the database, and the new one got deleted. Probably my own mistake

I'm not going to let it grow. There will be monthly releases. Each one will be a standalone release.

The correct file now is uploaded. The previous upload did not contain the intended images. You'll notice the update is only 1.26MB this time.

Not sure if this has been addressed before or not,,, But I wanted to ask,, and please don't bite my head off,, ( no Pun intended).,, But the images from the head shots are mostly,, if not all from IMDB.. If you google the names and go to images you'll find the same photos that are also in IMDB..

I thought we were not to scrape or mine any information from IMDB..

In the case of images, does it matter where they're mined from?  As I'm sure we'll likely be told, we're all going to jail for this regardless of who's copyright is infringed.

I always try to find a non-IMDB image, but if there is none, I don't mind using IMDB.

There may be some copyright issues, but hey, we're not doing anything commercial, and I'm sure as hell not making any money doing this.

I thought I'd give some pointers on how I evaluate headshots....

Here, both high quality headshots.  The one on the right is accepted because a more recent photo will be accepted over one depicting them from a younger age.  The only exception to this is if the actor or actress hasn't been in any movie since their younger photograph was taken.  This should be documented with your contribution.

Thank you for putting this together.  I have just now begun to incorporate head shots into my personal database and noticed many headshots showing pictures of actors/actress at very old age.  I think it's probably because of above guideline.  It may make sense for certain actors/actress who's been more or less constantly working throughout their life, but for certain actors/actress who's been very active when they were younger, but who's only made cameo appearance in older age (ie. Elizabeth Taylor or George C. Scott), I think it's less desirable. What do you think about changing the guideline to state photos of actor/actress in their "prime"?

With the current beta being able to assign a different headshot to the same actor for different profiles, it may be a moot point - but I have been giving that some thought.

I was using the age method because it's impartial and has little personal input into the process.  The "prime" shot would take into account every database contributor's opinion of their prime plus my opinion of their prime.  May end up being more trouble than it's worth.
