The 'Sun" tabloid in the U.K. are reporting the end of Doctor Who after season 4. But they also have been wrong in almost every Doctor Who story they have reported, (they have an ungoing feud with the BBC,) so take that news for what it's worth.

Just watched all of Defying Gravity yesterday / last night, and i'm just astonished how i've never heard of this show before. Only saw it on the recommendations at Amazon and grabbed it.

Kinda makes you wonder what other amazing shows there are yet to be discovered How all the good shows get axed ...and in the day of internet those two can be said of the same show.

I would rate that show right up there with Firefly, BSG, Stargates and Farscape.

I just recently watched...

Runaway: The Complete Series

All Regions

Released: 3/24/2009

Anamorphic 1.78

The CW canceled the show after only 3 episodes aired. The DVD has all 9 produced episodes. I thought it was an excellent series. While obviously it don't have any resolution to the series... it does solve the main mystery of the series. Who the real killer was.. so I would recommend checking it out... even if you don't care for unresolved series.

Seeing a lot of resurrected threads of late, this one five years old!

My one show is John Doe staring Dominic Purcell

Amazon has a spot reserved for it if it ever comes out on DVD and you can be signed up to receive notification.

Unfortunately, that spot is almost as old as this thread. John Doe on wikipedia

The problem when Fox aired this show it was all over the place, some weeks it would be on some it wouldn't, I think it was moved around a lot because of sports. I remember watching it when it was on and it was a great show. A couple of years ago I re watched the whole show on Hulu. Sadly it ended on a cliffhanger. Maybe Fox could dust this one off and do a movie to rap it up.

Good thread, has given me a a lot of shows to look for.

The Closer last episode tonight.
I will miss Kyra Sedgwick. One of the many actress I love to watch work.
She was on the Live with Kelly show this morning explaining her reason for ending it.

Although I do think that many shows do get rather boring after seven or more seasons.
We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own.

I miss Uk´s "Survivors". I think there was enough plot for a third season.

Jericho

Eerie Indiana - I've been screening this with my 13-year-old son the last two weeks and he really enjoys it, too.  IMO, this one lives up to the phrase, "Brilliant, but Cancelled."

The Closer last episode tonight.

You mean the first of the last six episodes... the last is on August 13, followed by the premiere of the spin-off series "Major Crimes".
