You've got more will power than me. Couldn't do it. Love horror too much. Bought The Evil Dead Blu-ray just released... yeah... barely took off my shoes before I had the damn thing in my blu-ray player!
The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play.

That transfer got some very positive write ups which i was surprised about. Although i hate army of darkness and i haven't seen the second one (i know i know).

I have seen the first one and i rather enjoyed it despite maybe it not exactly being my cup of tea. So not expecting much from the Blu-ray transfer and thinking of sticking with the DVD i might now be tempted to revisit after reading just how much of an upgrade it is over it's DVD counterpart.

I think it's a great idea of what Robin Williams will look like at 70

I'll one up you. I loathe the second one. With a passion. I've seen it once, and I was so annoyed and pissed off at how terrible it was, I've never watched it again. Yet everyone absolutely raves about it. I must be missing something, but to me... it was just a pain in the ass.

I like both the first and second, but I like the first more. Its more raw. And part two gets a little two slap stick for my taste at times. Still enjoy it, though.

I haven't decided yet... but I am toying with the idea of not watching any movies from this point on. I am thinking this only because I have to watch a LOAD of movies next month... and I need a good start so need to really be in the mood for movies when it starts.

Only problem with this idea... I just got a LOAD of movies... and there is a few I really want to see. Though I really don't have that long to wait now... just under 3 weeks.

Who am I kidding... I can't do this. Especially with another marathon I been doing all this month at another site. I may HAVE to watch a movie for it to complete that one.

Well I think I will keep the number of movies I watch now limited anyway.

Same here. My unwatched pile just keeps growing, but I know that I can't keep buying at this speed forever, so I expect to cut down pretty soon, and use the rest of my life enjoying my library.

Very true... it is a library of films that I can watch from this day on.

Matter of fact where October is quickly coming I looked into my collection to see how many horror movies I have in my collection now. And as of today.... I have 833 horror Movies in my collection. And I am sure I will add a couple more to that next month as well. So I will have plenty of horror to choose from once my marathon starts!

Actually it is the remake of The Wicker Man... it was recently given to me. I am actually hoping I will like it more then the original.... as I really didn't care too much for the original Wicker Man.

I just looking through my list to see what kind of horror TV Series I have I can look forward to..

  1.  American Gothic: Complete Series
  2. Angel: Seasons 1-5 (Complete)
  3. Are You Afraid of the Dark: Freaky Favorites
  4. Beyond Reality: Season 1
  5. Blood Ties: Season 1
  6. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Seasons 1-7 (Complete)
  7. Dracula: The Series
  8. Eerie Indiana (3 Episodes)
  9. Fear, Itself: The Complete Series
  10. Forever Knight: Seasons 1-3 (Complete)
  11. Friday the 13th: The Series: Seasons 1-2
  12. Ghost Whisperer: Seasons 1-3
  13. Haunted: The Complete Series
  14. A Haunting: Seasons 1-4 (Complete)
  15. The Hunger: Season 1
  16. Kindred: The Embrace: The Complete Series
  17. Kingdom Hospital: The Entire Series
  18. Kolchak: The Night Stalker: Complete Series
  19. Masters of Horror: Compete Series
  20. Miracles: Complete Series
  21. Monster Squad: Complete Series
  22. Moonlight: Complete Series
  23. Night Stalker: Complete Series
  24. The Ray Bradbury Theater: Complete Series
  25. Supernatural: Seasons 1-4
  26. Tales from the Crypt: Seasons 1-7 (Complete)
  27. Tales from the Darkside: Seasons 1-2

Some of them may not be strictly horror... but I think they are close enough to add to my marathon whenever the mood hits.

Off and on for the past week I been getting pretty aggravated and evil... being really short tempered. I was just told after a little tiff to go watch a horror movie so we can get the normal Pete back!  Seems the lack of horror in my life is making it so I am not as easy to live with.
