At least these dividers do not add costume supervisors to a costume designer option, or special effects to visual effects.

So your are saying crew dividers don't suck as badly as adding costume supervisors so dividers are OK?

I hope that isn't your best argument.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

No, I was using it as an example of things that were added that took away definition from a credit, as opposed to something that adds definition.

How is a costume supervisor anything like a costume designer.  And I have already given the argument about special effects (physical done durring production) as opposed to a vfx, which is done during post production.

I think the screeners are pretty consistent--they consistently join with the majority.

As far as the bolded, then why have rules.  I tried to make movies of the same title the same, since majority rules, we have in the online 2 different crew lists.  How does this serve anyone?

I think the people best served by the screeners going with the majority vote is the screeners.  They don't have to understand or even contemplate the "gray" areas of the rules if they just "go with the flow".

Allow what can be done, and as much info (within guidelines) in the online.  It is easier to remove (if a person chooses to do so), than it is to alter just for the online.

Whereas I believe that making the online (and therefore the rules) complicated contributes to the approval process being little more than approval by popular vote, which leads to inconsistencies.  Is that what you want more of?

I really have little interest in this but I can't see how it can hurt me. I don't see anywhere where it says the divider needs to be the "Name" of the crew tream just that it can be used to indicate a sub "Team". I think it's ambiguous enough that you can slip these in as a crew team if you squint enough.

It adds value (For those that want it) it causes no harm to those that don't, that's why I can see no reason to vote no.
