I think the answer is quite simple personally. There is a place for these fields, it has simply been approached from a direction that clearly has NO ANSWER. There are about 5% or so of the time when this is appropriate and that is when a title has been licensed from one Company to another. For MGMHE to TCFHE or SPHE. BVHE to Criterion or whatever company licensed to Criterion. There are other licensees involved but they aren't numerous, one has to be careful with Criterion as sometimes they also operate in the Public Domain films, they don't always license. The other area that COULD be dealt with to pick up the third film is Authoring data,which is usually found at the end of the Disc IF at all, and this seems to be becoming an endangered animal, but there are lots of old DVDs that do have Authoring info...not something that I am personally interested but at least it can be quantified.
