I don't care if you were the only person to write the rules, champ. Your actions since have proven you have zero credibility when it comes to the rules and how they should be followed. Quoting ateo357: Quote:
I just checked this link. So The Color of Money was originally listed 16x9 because of info from the case. Then changed to 4x3 but with little documentation. So Winston Smith falsified documentation to get it changed back to 16x9 because the previous didn't follow the rules. great big WTF. Actually the original contributor DID follow the rules. The documentation requirements satisfied invelos' rules and guidelines. | | | Last edited: by Kathy |

That's what I thought. The original was by the rules and the changes were not, but still approved. |

Tje development process was a two man job over many months Well, I would think the people who actually helped write the rules...as opposed to the people who came up with the concept...would have a better idea as to the actual intent. That being said, I was wondering how long it would take for you to dismiss their knowledge of the rules because they were your brainchild. I am sorry but, no matter how hard you try, you will never be the final arbiter of the rules. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. I am sorry but, no matter how hard you try, you will never be the final arbiter of the rules. And neither will you Martian, as your knowledge of both the process and the actual writing is extremely limited. You belioeve that you can determine things and you are usually wrong because you have no grounding in the system. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

| Posted: | | | | As this thread indicates sometimes there issues that have no clear cut answers.
In these grey areas Ken, Gerri or the screeners are the only arbiter of the rules.
The problem is that they seldom clarify these issues in the forums. Until they do, both sides of the argument have merit and neither can be dismissed.
What ends up happening in so many of these cases is nothing gets answered or solved. They just get put on the back burner until they are forgotten. |

Such arrogance is why no one here pays any attention to you anymore, Skip. You would have thought that after all these years, you would have learned how to use quotes on these forums! Don't know about yours, but my mirror isn't the least bit arrogant! It is quite passive! | | | Hal | | | Last edited: by hal9g |

| Posted: | | | | Quoting Winston Smith: Quote: And neither will you Martian, Never, not once, have I ever claimed otherwise. The difference between you and I, is that I know that my opinion is just that...my opinion. Unlike you, I neither ask, nor expect, anybody to defer to my opinion. Quote: as your knowledge of both the process and the actual writing is extremely limited. You belioeve that you can determine things and you are usually wrong because you have no grounding in the system. I believe nothing of the sort. What I know, however, is how to read. All that is required of me is to read and follow the rules, as they are written. Nobody is required to listen to what you intended as this is not your program. Should Ken post a clarification, I will defer to his wishes. I will not, however, defer to your's. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
