That user abused the reputation system (and yes, I know who he is, it's pretty obvious from your answer if you followd the "highlights" of the past months in these forums). It just shows that your post with the link to another thread and the provocative question connected with it have achieved your goal, to fuel a discussion (again) that we could do very well without. It is this kind of behavior from both sides that won't let this matter come to rest, EVER!

It seems perfectly legitimate to me to point out the irony of a "Thank You" thread less than a week after said user posted such disdain for this entire community and has not apologized or removed the post. Actually he has apologized to me on two occasions over the negatives I have received for defending him. |

Actually he has apologized to me on two occasions over the negatives I have received for defending him. So... Skip apologised to you for the behaviour of other people? I'm sure that's very nice of him, but it would be more appropriate of him to apologise to the poeple he has personally offended. Unless, of course, he deliberately intended to offend people and thinks that this is acceptable behaviour for someone expects tobe respected by the community... |
