Gingerbread??? GINGERBREAD! You need to update to a modern phone OS. Could say the same for my iPod touch 2nd gen. Still works just fine, but can't run the latest DVD Profiler. Quoting johnd: Quote:
ow, really, you know that's not true. I used to get several updates a week, every week. I have not had an update in months, no NEW software will work on my iPod. | | | Tom. | | | Last edited: by Tom Smith |

Let's face it, although a beta is said to be available 'soon' this has been the case for far too long. The guy doesn't have the time to make an android version or we would have had it by now.
Just use your DVDP export function to .xml and use it to import your collection to the one that a fellow forum member has posted and worked on.... I'm sure someone would provide the link. I dont use that one as it's not what I want.
Or
Pay for and download My Movies pro for android another good, in my opinion, collection app that you can import an .xml file to: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dk.mymovies.mymoviesforandroidpro
They have a free desktop client to help you out.
Their desktop client isnt as good as DVDP by a mile, but they can 'play a movie from the collection' if sotred on your pc, and syncs to My Movies Pro mobile.
I use DVDP on my pc for my collection on my pc and My Movies Pro on my mobile and tablet as they are both Android. In my opinion My Movies Pro is about the best one for collection management on Android for dvd/blu etc.... and is pretty well polished. When and IF dvdp for android becomes available I may get that, but for now I have exactly what I need and dont need to worry about dvdp for android as a suitable app in available.
As for ios vs android, take it else ware, this isnt a discussion for which is the better operating system and I prefer android anyway as I dont have to hack it to put my own drm free content on. |

There are not one, but instead two Apps available! There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar |
