You would ned to load all your profiles into BE, check the BoxSet Count column, and then once loaded, just click the column title to sort. This is more trounle than it would be worth to do on an ongoing basis. I mentioned it just in case you had a one time task.

I'm going out of town this weekend, but if I can whip up the Collection/Flags menu beforehand, I'll do it. That shoudl make it a snap to do anytime. Just vew the collection in flagged first mode. You could then even save a flag set for instant refiltering whenever you need it.

Edit: well I just did it. It was an easy change. Only thing is, in my collection, there are a lot of Box Sets with only one profile, and even a few with no chlld profiles, even though Box Contents Count is not zero. I don't know what this means yet. Maybe my database is corrupt. Anyway, do you want Box Sets with only 1 profile?

I too only use one profile per box set.

Hmm, you're doing something wrong. Did you wanted to find Box Set parents or childs? The filtering I gave you will filter out all the children and leave only parents.

For starters I don't use child profiles at all.

filter, check everything on that page & ' Selection: Or'

Then run query General Information , Production Year , "Find all profiles where: Production Year
Greater than      1800
Run Query, 572 profiles match that criteria.

So it finds my entire collection.

Ok, I did what I promised and made a BulkEdit menu called "Collection/Flags/Flag Box Sets". Now that was basically easy.

But what delayed me from last night was that I discovered that my collection had several profiles with wierdness:

- Profiles with a box set contents count > 0, but the included profile(s) have a null profileID.
- Profiles with a box set contents count > 0, the included profiles were there internally in the database, but they don't show up in the box set contents windows. I found the reason was that somehow, the "Parent Profile" field had gotten blanked out in the database entries for those profiles..

Now, this was after doing a database repair. I'm not sure how these things can happen, but my code skips over those cases. So, the menu will flag only those Box Sets that have a visual (+) symbol when nesting is enabled, and profiles (1 or more) actually appear in the box set contents window.

By the way, I am using the definition of "Box Set" = a Parent Profile with 1 or more child profiles.

Any other definition, such as a single profile with muliple movies on individual discs, has no official way to identify it in the database, so you would need to use Tags, as mentioned previously.
