If you propagate bad data that skews the CLT results, you are causing more work for those people.  For those people, I am guessing that nothing is better than bad data as 'nothing' isn't counted in the CLT results.

I am on the fence, I'd rather have a starting point when I enter a new title to audit than have to work from scratch. So I don't think it creates more work. Personally if I clone then I only copy cast and crew and then I do a dip sample and a read through.  But even a clone will only skew the profiles not the titles which is the most important data. Plus, when a cloned title is found to have errors, (as here) then that means 2 profiles will get corrected instead of one. As has been shown it is possible for there to be bad data, but in the majority of cases it will be good since it has been submitted with notes voted and accepted by the screeners.

Majority of cases doesn't count, Grave. Doing as many titles as i have done having to take thge time to fix data on one is more than enough. I am reminded, that, when I Contribute, I watch the votes and I fix problems, when and if they are pointed out, because I don't believe in something is better than nothing, I am human and I make mistakes and sometimes a typo might escape even the most attentive user and still has to be corrected. But, you will NEVER catch me saying wll something is better tha nothing...you fix it, if it is pointed out.

Don't ask me to support the laziness of some other user because he simply won't verify the cloned data, provide the proper documentation or whatever it happens to be. I think such users and simply being both self-serving and selfish and there is no room for that on a team, there is no I in team. So do it right or expect No votes,

Correct. I just went through Star Trek: The Original Series: Season Three: Remastered Edition, and ended up having to do a full audit of the Cast and Crew info (that had been submitted by copying from another approved profile), when I was just planning to update the Crew data for 3.5. What I found were instances of incorrect directing and writing credits (duplicates of the previous episodes credits), and some role names that were clearly not taken from the screen credits as the spelling was not close to what was on the screen.

I just went through the same thing with X2.  It had full cast and crew, from another profile, and I ended up making 25 cast changes because they didn't match the end credits.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Not always true. Just because the notes state that the cast and crew came from the end credits does not make it so and just because you have alot of people that voted yes and the screeners have passed it does not make it correct either. I have found, along with other people have found that the cloned end credits do not match to the new profile. So if you are going to clone a profile you must verify it to your actual disc end credits.
