| Posted: | | | | No, but it is a plug in that worked directly with in DVDP and will export to your android device.
I have been testing it for a while now for Olivier and he has done some great work to get a polished app.
Take a look at the screen shots I posted in that thread for a good idea of what is being offered.

Nope, but neither are BulkEdit, MyTools, Database Query or Trading Poster TG[1] 'official' but all of them do a damn good job, so I for one are eagerly awaiting this Plugin/App-Combo. cya, Mithi [1] To name just the few Plugins I use regularly, there are even more. | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

Take a look at the screens, they haven't changed all that much since I posed that. He did add an Events page for loans, and watched info I think.
The cast and crew list can be control via export limiters ( I do 15/5 ).

| Posted: | | | | alquian, I just wanted to thank you & your friend for this app. Although you sent me the info in November I have only now found the time to set up & install the program. Having found it very easy to do, I wish I'd done it sooner. My collection is 2500 yet took seconds to install. If I could make a suggestion- would it be possible to show the list sorted by collection number rather than alphabetical? I have my titles sorted by the collection number so that all the same genre, TV shows or Sci-Fi or Westerns ect are listed together. Not vital but would be helpful. Once again, thank you both very much |

| Posted: | | | | You are welcome, PWFDVDS My friend is thinking in upgrade the application since I give him no ideas for other things to program (he is currently single with no kids, this is why he has time enough to bore and think in continue evolving the program ). Thus, he could introduce that new feature. He is also considering to include snapshots of the films whereas the main features of the app are not seriously affected (a small and fast application). To be true I am not pressing him to modify the program since it is good enough for me as it currently is, I do not need a more complete application since I am still confident Ken will release the official Android version Regards and Happy Xmas! |

| Posted: | | | | Quoting Falquian: Then run DVDP and export your collection to your prefered folder (you can only export the titles field, no other field will be used at this time) and copy MyMoviesUpdater.exe to the same folder. Do not change the DVDP export name!, it has to be Collection.xml, the default name. Execute MyMoviesUpdater.exe, is a very simple, console mode, program. It will prompt you your PC IP, you will use that info later. Then run the My Movies Viewer from your Android phone, click on your Menu key (in my Samsung Galaxy S is on the left bottom corner) and select Server IP option, then enter your PC IP provided by the MyMoviesUpdater app. Finally, select Update. It took me less than a second to upgrade for my >1,100 titles collection. There is another menu option "Enable Links" that allows the program to connect to Invelos webpage for a very short, but helpfull, profile of the movie selected. You can also disable the feature if you do not have a plain data connection or simply do not need to connect to Invelos for film profiles. Any feedback about our use of English, suggestions about the program or any bug you might find would be really wellcome! <-- But by PM!! Best Regards, Hi i try to update with my phone but i have always have this error message " can't connect to server, verify your IP address" and i did all your steps. All is correct on my PC my IP address is correct too. can you help me? Thanks. |

Hi i try to update with my phone but i have always have this error message " can't connect to server, verify your IP address" and i did all your steps. All is correct on my PC my IP address is correct too. can you help me? Thanks. As PWFDVDS says, first thing you have to check is that your mobile has wifi feature set to ON, that is registered in the wifi network and that it is the same network your PC belongs to (some people can have a different LAN address for the wifi devices and other for the wired devices). You also have to run, prior to trying to download the minimized database, the PC based application. But this point was already detailed in the instructions. The process is quite simple and fail-proof, so the problem has to be in the wifi step. If you continue with problems to download the database, please contact me again, but by PM, to find a solution. Best regards |

| Posted: | | | | Having used DVD Profiler ever since it first came out, and finding it to be a top notch, easy to use program, I can appreciate how Invelos remains commited to focusing on it's primary product. That being said, having tried the mobile version with widows mobile years ago, and finding it a little weak, I was interested to see the state of any mobile version as I have now aquired an Android based phone. While I found it a little saddening that Invelos have not yet released anything, I can of course still view my collection via the web on my device, which does help prevent those nasty "double buys". I will admit that my main reason for wanting the mobile version, would be the ability to use the camera on my phone to scan the UPC of new DVD's aquired, and then when a sync occurs, by PC is updated. This would be much nicer than manually entering them. So +1 for release of an Android version $.02 | | | Last edited: by kbensmiller |
