Quote: Your quite an idiot my dear Since when anyone if force to contribute anything to the database... BTW Jon is one of the very first user of DVDP and I'm sure he did contribute a ton of works way before you were there.
Playing the "my father is stronger than yours" game isn't really brilliant or usefull I think you are insulting me, but the English is so poor it is hard to tell. And I have been using Profiler for over 10 years. The only people I am sure were at intervocative before me are Skip, Hal and MadMartian. Bob, after the crap you've been spouting, by now you should be able to assume that you're being insulted, even when you're too ignorant to be sure. You're making yourself into a nice big target, especially when you attack someone's language. Still playing the "my dick's bigger" game, are we? Tedious. I can't be sure, but I think I may have been at Intervocative shortly before Skip. About the same time anyway. I started using Profiler around 1999 and eventually found the forums. Sorry about changing my screen name when we joined Invelos. It seems to be causing you some tension... | | | Jon "When Mister Safety Catch Is Not On, Mister Crossbow Is Not Your Friend."

| Posted: | | | | I'm not sure why anyone feels that Ken's decision affects any other title. He has made a point that this decision ONLY affects this particular movie and its sequels/remakes.
Any and all other titles are not affected and therefore this decision does not impact them.
I recommend that those who are unhappy with this decision might post their request for a change in the Contribution Rules Committee. | | | Last edited: by Kathy |

If I recall correctly it was around 1876 that I noted to myself that I'd have to contact Ken Cole in 1993 and note him about the forthcoming media type DVD and especially what a good idea it would be to develop a profiling program for those. | Posted: | | | | I've been using Profiler since 1997. The support has always been generally terrible when it comes to forum questions.
Support tickets in general have always been answered for me; but then I haven't had to do too many. The most urgent one I sent was when my db got corrupted and I couldn't open it. Ken replied within 24 hours and asked me to send him a copy of my db. I did, and within a matter of hours he had looked at it, fixed the problem and sent it back to me.
The problem I see is the forum. I rarely come in here any more, and the result is that I am a much happier Profiler user. I contribute on a regular basis and I use the online DB. But, whenever I come in the forum my stress levels sky rocket and I realise why I left (this thread being a prime example).
Do I wish that Invelos answered more questions posted in the forum? Absolutely! Do I think they SHOULD answer more questions? Absolutely!
I agree with Sam, and would happily wait for further updates to the program to have more questions answered in the forum. But then, I'm pretty happy with the program as it stands, so further updates are not a big thing for me.
Today I had a look at the Invervocative forum, and nothing has changed since those days. Same people, same questions, same arguments, SSDD!
Anyway, I love this program. It's the best at what it does. Support sucks. |

No tension here moron, I was not questioning how long you were here, merely pointing out that I have been here as or very nearly as long as just about anyone still here and that Jimmy-I-Failed-English-But Have Mastered-the-F-Word-S should not mouth off about that which he/she has no clue. I also was in those rules forums before the split from Intervocative, so what?. Forget the past; live in the now. Deal with the program now, contribute to the database and community now and stop being a pissy little child. But I guess a self-admitted troll like yourself who proudly styles himself as "part of the problem", prefers bitching and moaning to actual participation. | | | Last edited: by bob9000 |

You definitely judge people by how long they've been here and number of contributions, so don't back down now, with your "so whats". Come on, keep focus, hotshot. I'm no troll, because I simply want this program to be the best it can be and I'm sick of seeing my friends talking sense and being belittled for it by those who blindly follow Profiler like a religion. While attitudes like yours are tolerated it will always be throttled. Oh yeah and attack Jimmy on language all you want. What he has to say is actually worth listening to and he makes a heck of a lot more sense than you. | | | Jon "When Mister Safety Catch Is Not On, Mister Crossbow Is Not Your Friend."

I absolutely do not care how long anyone has been here, I only mentioned it because both you and that Jimmy brought it up. I absolutely DO care how much someone contributes. This is why I don't slam people like Sam for his opinions on matters Invelos no matter how wrongheaded I may consider some of them to be. If I choose to engage him on these issues it will be in a reasoned and polite manner. You and parasitic floaters like you get no such consideration from me. You have not earned it. If you think I am backing down then you have not been paying attention. And that idiot Jimmy only entered my crosshairs because he attacked me. Finally, if you think that repeatedly swearing at and deriding other contributing members is 'making sense' then there is something tragically wrong with you. | | | Last edited: by bob9000 |
