It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

When I first saw pictures of this cat going around the internet I immediately wanted one.  Besides the fishing aspect, it was just a cool looking cat.  After a little research I found out it's actually a wild cat from Asia called a "Fishing Cat" so there went that idea.  The pictures are from a Russian couple who apparently found one when it was a baby and raised it so it's more or less domesticated.  They occasionally let it fish out of their bathtub or let it hunt chickens and stuff.  They also own a regular domesticated cat and it's funny to see the two of them side-by-side and how they both get along and even sleep curled up together.

They had a blog with hundreds and hundreds of pictures but I can't seem to find it.  I did find this mini-post with a group of photos of them.  This might be the same site I'm thinking of but since it's all in cyrillic who knows.

http://www.diesel.pp.net.ua/news/2007-02-15-104 (This link is NSFW for 2 reasons; 1) Naked woman in bathtub with cat (mostly covered/obscured by water, but still...). 2) Aftermath of cat hunting a chicken which isn't a pretty site.  Otherwise the pictures are pretty fascinating.)

Hmm, that's quite interesting!

I saw a video last week of a normal little kitten who liked to play around in the bathtub. Pretty fun to watch: Kitty loves the water

My cat oddly loves water too and often gets into it. He's a long-haired persian breed though, and his hair often gets matted and tangled.
