Most of your "enslaved wild animals" are brought to us in order to save their lives. They are usually brought in injured or orphaned. The goal is to rehabilitate them and release them back to their natural environment. But, this is not possible in all cases. It is more than likely that this owl was unable to be returned to back to its home. In these cases the animals often become attached to their human handlers. As the video shows, these animals often take great pleasure in being carressed by people they trust. Thank you Katatonia for sharing your video - that owl just might be the cutest one ever. |
