Repeat a fact enough and people will believe it's true... So, because you have no first hand knowledge and are unwilling to admit that you might be wrong, you simply tell us our memory is unreliable? I am sorry, but that is just bad form...especially when a quick internet search should have put this issue to bed. In May 2010, Maxim magazine published an article commemorating Empire's 30th anniversary. One of the 'behind the scenes' photos included the filming of the opening crawl. In that image, you can clearly see that it says, "Episode V". | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | As I said the case is close for me... so I will not not enter in a pissing contest with you. I know you like doing this but I don't. Incredible how people are ready to use every non sense to break the rules and an opening crawl is non-sense. Good thing I use nothing (except for the BR disc id) that other people contribute as less and less people are reliable. But it's a picture... If Maxim will shoop women to tan them and get rid of scars and pantylines, maybe they'll also shoop in Episode V. Jimmy, do you have any source that the episode number weren't in Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi originally, or are you just speculating based on the poster? Movie-censorship.com did reports on all the Star Wars changes. There were changes to the opening crawl, but only re-rendering the text, not rewriting it except in a New Hope. http://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=4334040 http://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=2005824 http://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=17858 |

You have zero grounds for your argument, and you continue to stand by incorrect information despite overwhelming evidence that it's wrong. There's nothing subjective about this situation. It's not about asinine rules. Or contributors submitting suspect information. And it's certainly nothing personal. It's about pure fact and setting the record straight. | | | My DVD/Blu-ray Collection My Letterboxd Page |

| Posted: | | | | Even though I understand a person's memory is not very good documentation on its own. However, in this case the thread is full of memory reinforcing other memory. Plus this would not be hard to provide documentation for beyond that. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here
